Can two OC-48 ports be working as entry/exit ports of a simulated optical network (configured as UNI-N)? Specifically, can the Optical UNI RSVP Conformance handle propagation of RSVP signaling coming on port A to port B? What I'm trying to figure out is whether it is possible for RT to emulate a true network?

With the OC-48 ports you will able to perform in-band signaling and the conformance test software will be able to simulate the Ingress and Egress nodes. When the SUT sends messages to a test port (Ingress Node) the controller can propagate that message through to the other port (Egress Node), thus emulating a true network.
