10-port Ethernet SFP XR-2 interface card - N5606A

The N5606A N2X 10-port 10/100/1000Base-T XR-2 test card provides an alternative option for testing with an electrical interface on an N2X 10-port card. (Previously this could only be achieved using the Agilent supplied electrical SFP with N5605A 10-port Ethernet SFP XR-2 test card.) Each port on this card has an RJ45 connector that supports tri-rate (10/100/1000 Mb/s) electrical interfaces.

Enhancements to SIP Protocol Emulation Software - N5588A

This release includes a new QuickTool, SetUpVoiceCalls, that simulates SIP User Agents, establishes calls, and sends VoIP traffic.

Enhancements to the IPTV QoE Productivity Application - N5570A and N5574A

Both the IPv4 and IPv6 versions of the IPTV QoE Productivity Application now support Multiplay statistics. In addition to measuring per-field MDI statistics on video traffic, you can now concurrently measure per-stream performance statistics on background voice and data traffic. This enables you to compare the QoE of high-priority video and voice traffic against the QoE of lower-priority data traffic. You can monitor the per-stream statistics in real-time (using the underlying N2X Packets and Protocols application), and also analyze the statistics after the test (using the IPTV QoE Test Report).

Multiple Access Protocol Emulation enhancements

This release provides the following enhancements to Access Protocol Emulations:

• Flexible PPPoE VLANs
• Flexible PPPoEoA PVCs
• Flexible Circuit IDs for ANCP, DHCP, PPP
• Servers echoing vendor-specific tags
• DHCPv6 clients accepting highest Advertise
• GUI responsiveness after disabling PPPoE pools

How to get the latest N2X release

This release is available to all N2X customers who have a current and activated Software and Support Agreement (SSA). You can download the release from the N2X Technical Support web area. If you have activated your SSA, you will automatically receive 6.11 SR1 upgrade kits containing the software on a CD, and you are also entitled to technical phone support. To purchase or renew your SSA, please contact your local Agilent representative.
