Industrys first solution to provide a flexible
hardware platform that enables OC-768c/STM-256c wire
speed packet generation and scalable protocol performance
analysis capabilities.
Agilent N2X is the industry's most comprehensive test
solution for testing the development and deployment
of network services for converging network infrastructures.
Service providers, network equipment manufacturers (NEMs),
and component manufacturers can verify service attributes
of entire networks end-to-end, while also isolating
problems down to individual networking devices and subsystems
Agilent N2X incorporates the strength of the RouterTester
900 to deliver unparalleled test realism to verify the
ultimate performance, scalability and resilience of
carrier grade services and infrastructure..
The Agilent N2X OC-768c POS XS Test Card, working in
conjunction with the 'IP Performance' application, the
data forwarding performance of a router can be measured
at full line rate while simultaneously advertising and
withdrawing routes. The time taken for a router to converge
on new routes can be
precisely measured, along with the amount of data lost
during this 'route flap' process.
Comprehensive transmit and receive statistics at the
IP layer, Link layer and Physical layer are available
in real-time, tabular and graphical formats. The powerful
'IP Analysis' application enables off-line data-capture,
analysis, graphing and decodes, such that erratic or
transient behavior can be diagnosed.
The E7320B N2X OC-768c XS test card has one full-duplex
optical port which can generate suitably encapsulated
IP packets.
The E7320B comes with a comprehensive Layer-2 analysis
application POS Analysis which allows rigorous
testing down to the bit level for HDLC framed packets,
ideal for framer and basic IP functionality testing
as well as manufacturing test.
