The latest Agilent N2X 6.8 system release includes new products and enhancements:
- N2X E7897A MLD Protocol Emulation Software
The N2X MLD (Multicast Listener Discover) Protocol Emulation Software (E7897A) quickly verifies channel selection within IPv6 IPTV networks under realistic triple play network conditions. The MLD emulation software complements the N2X E7896A DHCPv6 emulation software and powerful IPv6 traffic generation capabilities to offer a complete IPv6 test solution.
-
N2X N5582A LACP Emulation Software
The N2X LACP Protocol Emulation Software accurately verify the functionality and performance of LACP link bundling as per the IEEE 802.3ad. N2X can verify the functionality and performance of LACP implementations with precision. This can be done by combining multiple N2X Ethernet interfaces into one or more link bundles, emulating LACP, and generating realistic traffic over each link bundle.
- N2X N5572A MSTV Protocol Decode Software
The N5572A MSTV Decode software is the industry’s first product for analysing captured Microsoft TV traffic according to Microsoft IPTV 1.1 Specifications. With the addition of the E7877A license, MDI measurements can also be made on Microsoft TV traffic.
- Support for New Conformance Test Suites (Release 5.01)
New and extended conformance test suites in CTS release 5.01 including PIM-SM multicast (SSM/bi-directional), 802.1X, VLAN, IGMPv3 and MLDv2
- New Features and enhancements
Release 6.8 includes a broad range of new enhancements to existing products which are available free of charge to N2X installations with active Software and Support Agreements (SSAs). Enhancements range from extensions to IPTV test capabilities (including support for 10 GbE), application and usability enhancements (including optimised configuration saving), and protocol emulation extensions. Registered N2X customers can learn more about the enhancements from the Technical Support web area.
